Esperanza Cabo Wedding Videographer
Weddings at Esperanza, filmed the way they felt.
I'm Victor Green, a wedding filmmaker based in San José del Cabo. I've filmed weddings at Esperanza, Auberge Resorts Collection. Here are some of those films, and what to know if you're planning your wedding at the resort.
The cliffs, the sea and the light in between.
Plan around golden hour
Esperanza sits on the cliffs above the Sea of Cortez, and the hour before sunset is when it looks its best on camera. A ceremony timed to end before that hour leaves room for portraits in the softest light of the day.
Vows you can hear
Beach and cliffside ceremonies come with wind and waves. I record vows and speeches with discreet microphones, so your words are clear in the film without taking away the sound of the ocean.
A day that moves
Many Esperanza weddings move from the beach to the terraces to dinner by the water. I plan each change of location with your planner, so nothing is missed between moments.
Planning at Esperanza
Can you get married on the beach at Esperanza?
Yes. Esperanza has a private beach for ceremonies, as well as cliffside terraces and indoor spaces with ocean views. Your venue coordinator will confirm what fits your guest count.
How far is Esperanza from the airport?
About 25 minutes from San José del Cabo International Airport (SJD), on Punta Ballena, between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo.
When is the best time for portraits at Esperanza?
The last hour before sunset. I recommend building your timeline so you have 20 to 30 minutes for portraits in that light, before the reception begins.
Where are the best spots for portraits at Esperanza?
Esperanza has many beautiful places for portraits. The stone staircases and some of the resort's walkways give you texture and quiet corners, and the beach has some of the best light for portraits at sunset.
